RESTAURANT BRAND SUITE
Art Direction and Graphic Design
California English is a recent venture from celebrity chef Richard Blais, who currently stars on Next Level Chef with Gordon Ramsay located in the hub of a Class A Life Science campus where ideas meet provisions.
Working with Richard's vision, I art directed a team to create a unique logomark that captures the fusion of the two cuisines being represented. The design features a playful character, "the chap", wearing a derby hat and signature sunglasses, symbolizing a blend of cultural influences. The typography mirrors this fusion, combining a formal font with a more casual style, reflecting both sophistication and approachability in the brand's identity.

Japa Organics
BRAND IDENTITY CREATION
Art Direction and Graphic Design
Japa Organics is an ethically sourced, pure Cannabidiol (CBD Oil) sourced in Colorado. Japa believes in the harmony of using plants in our everyday lives. Japa is a sanscrit word that means ‘mantra’.
In keeping with the company’s distinctive spirit, the overlapping circles of the logo represent the repetitive mantra while the shades of color represent the internal effects the product has, the idea being to show a light or glow from within which is the result of removing impurities with regular usage.
